Travel Packing
1. Who is going on this trip? Do you need to pack for others as well?
2. Where are you going and how many days will you be gone?
3. Why are you going? Relaxation or business
4. What are the activities are you going to be doing?
5. Weather is important to consider. Plan for the weather conditions.
It is a very good idea to make a list of the outfits and plan the days you are going to wear them. It might be also be helpful to take pictures of your clothing so you don't have to think about what you are wearing.

Caught Un-Fashioned
As you know, we represent a CA based clothing designer and our best marketing tool is what we wear. We are very committed to this; however, this week we have both been caught un-fashioned… oversized sweatshirts, jeans too tight and too short, and the wrong bra (this really makes a difference). Our excuse…we could give you a million, but we won’t because it really does not matter what we were wearing. It was how we felt…
As wardrobe consultants, the Flathead Fashionistas, our goal is to help women express their inner beauty. We want you to feel beautiful all the time! So it is time to go through your closet and throw out those garments you know you do not work with your body type…
What is your body type?
Triangle- Narrow upper body, narrow waist
Diamond- Narrow upper body, fuller through the hips
Rectangle- Narrow upper and lower body, do not have a defined waistline
Hourglass- Narrow waist, shoulders and hips in proportion
Here are a few tips on what to wear to flatter your body type for spring:
Triangle- v-neck t-shirts, cap sleeves, pants with wide waist bands
Diamond- pencil skirts, v-neck t-shirts, wide leg pants
Rectangle- belts, flared skirts, jackets with belts
Hourglass- wraps, tunics, long skirts with wide waist band or large belts

Jewelry Organization
Could your jewelry box look like this? After trying to untangle necklaces, digging through braclets to find the match to a pair of earrings and wondering whose Cinderella's watch cover was entagled between the necklaces and bracelts... Something had to be done!
We are too embarrassed to tell you if this was Sarah or Natalie's jewelry box... However, we received this idea from Nicole Bickett, Natalie's sister who is a professional organizer in Carmel, IN http://www.organize2optimize.com/e.com/e.com/.

Use clear tacks to hang your necklaces and bracelts. This makes it so much easier to view all of your jewlery. If you hang these in your closet you can quickly choose the best accessory to accent your outfit for the day.
You can use this idea with your belts as well.

Flathead Valley Fashionistas
We are excited to begin our weekly blog to share with you! Each Friday we will be sure to provide you with fashion tips or closet organization ideas! Our goal is to make fashion fun and easy. We know how difficult it can be to have to search through your closet each morning to decided what to wear, what to mix and match, or what not to wear again...We hope we can create ideas for you to use to make putting outfits together stress-free and fashion full! We do our research daily to be sure we are aware of the latest trends! So far our favorite trend we have discovered for spring and summer is color!
If you don't want to spend a lot; however, you want to update your wardrobe a little, this is what we suggest:
Yellow and Orange- Add accessories: purse, scarf, or shoes or add a cute bright pop of color with a t-shirt
Grey- It is the trend for denim- add a jean jacket, jeans, or jean skirt
We have also noticed less of a skinny jean...now we are seeing low or mid-rise jeans that are thin though the thighs with a wider flare at the bottom
